The Legend of Laserbreath

Once Upon An Olden Time,
Long, long ago,
When Dragons roamed the countryside
And caused endless woe,

There lived a wicked Dragon,
So the legends say,
Who ravaged six Kingdoms,
Eating Twenty maidens in a day.

GASTROVITRIOLAS was the name,
Of this fearsome beast,
And all in the country feared,
Becoming this Dragon's feast.

When GASTRO took upon himself,
An ugly Dragon Bride,
People thought he'd settle down,
And they wouldn't have to hide.

But GASTRO had to provide the food,
For dearest BRILLOVAIN,
So instead of reduced hostilities,
There was double trouble and pain.

When BRILLOVAIN laid four eggs,
In their mountain cave,
He scourged four times harder
For food he knew they'd crave.

Now GASTROVITRIOLAS and BRILLOVAIN,
Weren't happy as you might think!
Three of the eggs were green,
But the other one was pink!

Three green Dragonets hatched,
Vicious in every way.
But the other Dragonet was pink,
And caused his folks dismay.

While the three green Dragons,
Learned to howl and spit,
The pink Dragon wanted only,
To learn how to knit.

The three Dragons were named,
BRIMFIRE, RENDER and TOMBSEYE.
The other was named GILDERSPAR,
Which means "A Real Nice Guy."

Of all the Dragon traits,
Of which a Dragon might be proud,
Being "A Nice Guy" was not one,
That GASTRO could boast aloud.

So to avoid the shame and ridicule,
Of Dragons in other lands,
He sealed his son in a cavern,
Guarded with magic bands.

The bands were made of magic spells
And kept GILDERSPAR within.
All who wanted to, could enter,
But were never heard from again.

The years went by, one-by-one,
And soon time forgot,
The tale of the pink Dragon
And the fate that was his lot.

In daily life of Modern Times,
When youth must test it's measure,
It decides to brave the cavern
To steal the rumored treasure.

And since none have ever returned,
All dying a terrible death,
A legend soon sprang forth,
The Legend of LASERBREATH.

GILDERSPAR was his name,
But that was long ago.
LASERBREATH lives there now,
So be forewarned, if you go.

The Legend says "There is a way,
If one is honest and true,
To free the Dragon of the spell,
And reap the reward that's due."

Explore the Caves, look for clues,
And most of all, be wary.
It must be understood that,
LASERBREATH eats all who tarry.
